Flea Circus Games

Well, after much hubbub and malarkey, the Flea Circus Games website is born.

About the Name

I picked "Flea Circus" because it implies smallness. And weirdness. It's colorful and obviously isn't trying to be cool. To like it, you can't take yourself too seriously. And it offers a lot of graphic and wordplay possibilities.

About the Site

My goal was to do something with an amped up color scheme, and quite different from everyone else, and even a bit different from my usual style. AND it took much longer than expected. :\ Things will definitely change along the way, especially as the release gets closer.

About the Game

Like most of my games, Joystick Johnny began as an entry for Game-in-a-Day. It's a project I've been wanting to build on for a long time and since the retro style is still relatively popular, I think there'll be a big enough audience for it. Plus, I love making mini-games and I plan on creating at least 80 of them for this!

...

I'll appreciate any feedback that comes my way. You can email me at the address at the bottom of this page or use the anonymous Contact form.

If you know anyone who'd be interested in playing Joystick Johnny, please let them know about the website! (joystickjohnny.com)

Also, if you're a developer or hard core gamer and want to be a beta tester -- shoot me an email and I'll put you on the list.

Anyway, it's crunch time now for the next few weeks, but I'll be posting more often now that the big stuff is out of the way.

Thanks,
Joe

Wow, I'm continually amazed by blogging technology. It's like you can blog from anywhere nowadays.

Case in point: right now, I'm posting this entry from a depth of 4 fathoms just off the coast of Belarus.

I can't think of anything to write, though.
