Moon Bandits is a new freeware game by Foppygames that takes the vastly overdone genre of Space Invaders and makes it feel new again. It's executed with so much personality and cleverness that I encourage everyone to give it a try.

Game Maker Progress

I've been making good progress on "Game Maker" in the past couple of weeks. It's more polished, has more compelling gameplay, and more eye candy.



It's definitely been a case study in feature creep, though. I'm trying to get back to my more interesting projects, but the more I work on it, the more potential I see in it.

Di$$ney World

About 6 years ago I worked at Walt Disney World, which was naturally a source of endless inspiration for parody. Every once in a while, someone asks me repost the ridiculous stuff I used to make. A lot of it is pretty crude since all I had at the time was MS Paint and a scanner, but here's something I dug up from that period that I kind of like.

This is the map I drew in colored pencil for an Epcot "brochure."

I never actually got in trouble for any of the stuff I used to make, some of which was, um... of questionable taste. Other Cast Members got in trouble for having it on their computers, though. =)
